ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Linda Ann Oakes, 29, of 435 Garfield Drive, South Pasadena, Calif., a former resident of Attica, died Monday (April 21, 1975) at her home. Cause of death has not been determined. Born April 25, 1945, in Camp Shelby, Miss., she was the daughter of William R. and Mary C. Hirsh Parient. She was married to James Oakes in September, 1967. Survivors include her parents of Attica; and three brothers, Roger Parient of Indianapolis, Richard Parient of Lincolnshire, Ill., and Doug Parient of Los Angeles, Calif. She was a graduate of Attica High and attended California State University. She was a member of Tri Kappa. She was a claim supervisor for employee benefits of Automobile Club of Southern California. Mrs. Oakes had resided most of her life in Attica. She had been a resident of Pasadena since 1965. Services will be at 1l a.m. Friday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home, with the Rev. Melvin Nead officiating. Burial will be in the Jewish Cemetery in Attica. Friends will be received after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.   --waw
